Why should I hire The Canine Companions?
It is very simple - I don't accept anything but the best for my pets, you shouldn't either. Once you meet with your Canine Companions I am confident that you will know your pet is going to receive the best care. Our unsurpassed dedication to providing stellar service to you, your pet, and your home is unrivaled. Each Canine Companion treats each pet as if it were their own. Genuine kindness, honesty, and dependability are all qualities that describe each Canine Companion.
I am interested in your services. Can I meet you?
Of course! A free initial consultation is required to make sure The Canine Companions is a good fit.
During what hours are you available to care for my pets?
Visits typically occur between 7 am and 9 pm.
I have more than one dog. Will you charge an extra fee?
No, as long as all the requested services can be performed within the allocated time (30 or 60 minutes) there is no additional charge. The Canine Companions' pricing structure is based on time, not the number of pets in each household.
What if I need to change or cancel an appointment?
I simply ask for 24 hours notice. Cancellations that are made with less than 24 hours notice will be charged $15 for each visit scheduled to occur within the next 24 hours.
Do you offer services on holidays?
Absolutely! Please be advised that holiday bookings often fill up fast so I highly recommend scheduling your holiday pet sitting visits early.
Please note: an additional $10 per visit will be charged for visits on major holidays. These holidays include: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
What methods of payment do you accept?
Checks made payable to "The Canine Companions," credit cards (accepted via PayPal), and cash are acceptable forms of payment.
When do I pay?
Payment in full is required on the first day of the invoiced service period.
Will you let me know how the visit goes?
Yes! A note will be left behind letting you know when your Canine Companion was at your house, along with details of the visit (what was done, a bathroom report, and any other noteworthy events that occurred). Also, to brighten your day we will gladly send a picture of your pooch to your cell phone once a day.
I have family or a neighbor who can help watch my pets. Can you share pet sitting responsibilities with them?
For the safety of your pets as well as insurance purposes, The Canine Companions is unable to share pet sitting responsibilities with others.
How long have you been in business?
The Canine Companions was established in September 2009.
What if my pet becomes ill or injured?
If either occurs we will contact you and your veterinarian, depending on the situation, for care.
